Spring is in full swing, and in South Walton, that means there are lots of events and great ways to get involved and to give back to our beautiful local community.

Experience Beauty and the Botox to Benefit the DCWAF

Do something to benefit yourself and others by joining the fun on Friday, April 6 from 9:30 to noon at the Aqua Medical Spa for reduced-rate Botox, light refreshments, and a little bubbly all to benefit the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, an organization that supports multiple Walton County charities.

Head Down to the Chi Chi Miguel Throwdown for Children’s Advocacy

Join the fun at the Chi Chi Miguel Throwdown from Thursday, April 5 to Saturday, April 7. Start with the Wine Walkabout on Saturday, join the golf tournament on Saturday, and finish with a Thorwdown Benefit Auction & BBQ on April 7. The event benefits multiple charities.

Indulge at the Pancakes Breakfast Fundraiser for Autism Awareness

April is Autism Awareness Month, and the Emerald Coast Autism Center is kicking things off on April 7 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Peoples National Bank in Niceville with a delicious pancake breakfast. Tickets are $6.

Play in the 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament for Food for Thought

Thursday, April 12, join the fight against childhood hunger at the 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Club. After a day of golf, the fun continues at Vue on 30A for an awards reception. Expect a great day of food, drinks, silent auction, and of course, golf.

Swing by 6th Annual Hole in One Golf Tournament for Autism

The Emerald Coast Autism Center’s 6th Annual Hole in ONE Golf Tournament takes place on Friday, April 13 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Blackstone Golf Course. The event will feature raffle prizes, complimentary food, cocktails, and live music for “Reaching kids, supporting families.”

Attend Bourbon & Cigars for Dog-Harmony

Raise your glass in honor of man’s best friend on April 19 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Old Florida Fish House. Enjoy cigars, bourbon, light bites, a silent auction, and live music to benefit Dog-Harmony. Tickets are $50 each.

Give It a Throw at the 4th Annual Corn Hole Tournament for the Boys & Girls Club

Head down to Eglin Parkway on Saturday, April 21 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the 4th Annual Corn Hole Tournament. The event benefits Boys & Girls Clubs along the northwestern Florida Gulf Coast.

Don’t Miss the 2018 Destin Charity Wine Auction

Ranked #3 on the “Top 10 Charity Wine Auctions in the US” by Wine Spectator Magazine, this event rhas raised over $15 million for children in northwest Florida. The Patron Dinner is on Friday, April 27 at 6 p.m. with the Reserve Tasting & Live Auction taking place on Saturday, April 28 at 1 p.m. The high-spirited live auction starts at 3 p.m. and features rare, distinctive wines, spectacular trips, and other one-of-a-kind items. Eat Your Heart Out at the South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival Benefiting the DCWAF

Part of the wine charity auction weekend is the fantastic South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival from April 26 to April 29 throughout the Town Center of Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. In 2017, the festival and wine auction raised $2.7 million for coastal children’s charities. So, it’s both a beneficial and fun weekend with attractions like Spirits Row, Rosé All Day Garden, Savor the South Walton Culinary Village, Nosh Pavilions, Tasting Seminars, Craft Beer & Spirits, Jam, and more.
